Philly was my first dog, my parents got him on their honeymoon in 1981! He was the best dog I have ever had to date. A golden retriever that lived until he was 14 and I was in 4th grade. Anna is my best friend since first grade so she knew him very well.
OK LADIES, (ANNA) HERE IS THE VIDEO:
Anna and I, along with all my girls have that random text/talk/see bond. It never matters how long it has been or where we are in our lives, not one beat is skipped. I want to get down “The Girls” in a nutshell…corny I know. 😉
- Lets start with Anna Banana. In first grade she dissed me big time! I asked her if she needed help sponging the tables during recess and she said, “NO, I’m fine”. To this day she does not remember this. Ohhh but I do clear as day. Next recess we were inseparable.
Anna was the oldest out of all of us (sorry to put that out there biotch) meaning, she got her driver’s licence first!!! Ohhh the good times we had in her 1981 Toyota Corolla nicknamed The Grundal, The Gremlin and the clown car with rust racing stripes.
Anna, has a huge heart and was the “hippie Mom”. She would stop and save random animals of the side of the road and always took care of us silly ones when out of control! You know, hold our hair back when we had too much to drink, tuck us in, give us water and crackers with a bucket next to the bed and she would not hesitate to say WHAT!? He is not cute, get away from him.
Anna and I have both seen each other at our absolute worst and are most fabulous stages. We know who to call when we need someone. Such a lovely being my Anna Banana is. She’s hot stuff too!
- Christy, are you next? Yes you are, miss tweety bird EVERYTHING, hahaha. Ok, it was 5th grade – 6th grade but man that sticks out to me! Miss Christy and I can laugh about everything and anything for umm..hours. People claim we have a different language and they don’t understand it! Once together, you may need pliers to get us apart.
Christy was definitely a head turner. She is so pretty and so funny but don’t get on her bad side! When I think of her I just laugh because that is honestly what we do. She is such a sweetheart and I love her oh so much.
My best memory with her is probably in 6th grade coming home from a softball tournament in the back seat and our Moms in the front talking. We barked at every car that drove by and thought it was the funniest thing in the world! Oh I can’t just pick one, howling at the moon in our heels in Jamaica? Or flashing the planes on top of our roof deck down the beach AT NIGHT I should add during a meteor shower! With Mrs. W……hahaha. Now she is happily married going on 4 years! She is one funny lady.
- Tara! How do I even sum up Tara into a few sentences? Well we used to butt heads because we always like the same boys hehe..now she is like a 3rd sister to me. Such a caring creature, creature was a strange word but she is just one of a kind. You will never meet another like this Tara.
Tara would give you her last dollar, she would has put her own life on the line to save a baby pit bull on the side of the road in Trenton NJ. Tara will give you the best hugs and my favorite, make you always feel funny! She laughs at everything I say and I love it haha. My little country girl.
My 3rd sister Tara is too amazing, allllthhhoughhh! She can be a little trouble maker when she wants. 😉 We have had mannnnny sleepless nights and we can make many good memories in seconds. Love this one like fat kid loves cake. She is a strong one, one that I am lucky to have on my side. Xoxo
Ohh Tracy! Tracy is HILARIOUS! Everything SHE says is actually really funny! Tracy being the second oldest (sorrryyyy) was known as the Mother in the group. Taking care of us delinquents haha. She always seemed to stay grounded ALWAYS. It’s a secret she won’t share I suppose.
Tracy is so beautiful inside and out! This stunning woman is married with two children and somehow has a rockin’ body! She is the best Mom, maybe she had too much practice with us back as teeny boppers haha. I think the entire world of this beauty and would do anything for her. I just can’t describe just how funny she is. Always dancing and singing funny songs. The most down to earth girly I personally have ever met that is so silly it’s incredible.
Tracy is the most loveable, loyal, honest person you can meet. She is a perfect role model for her children and really for women our age. She can rise to any occasion and come out on top. Ohhh I love you Tracy! Tracy, my little fluffy muff hahaha! You alway had my back and will tell it how it is. You amaze me!
- Joannnnnaaaa! Joanna gets me excited when I think about her! Lol She is just so vibrant and everything just seems better when she is around. She is always enthusiastic and I love it! She is a breath of fresh air…sometimes a breath of a pink cigg. Hahha
Oh Jo, you are too darn cute and so lively. Joanna is strong in her beliefs, good luck if she catches a debate with you! So smart and so beautiful. Always looking like a diva (and acting like the one she is). She is always the ice breaker and NOT shy by any means whats so ever!
Jo and I go back to 7th grade when she was fresh off the plane from Chi town. Sitting next to each other innnnn Social Studies? Making each other laugh to the point where we couldn’t breath. “Nnnaaagghhhhh” a noise and a face you never want to hear was what made us laugh so hard. We are all weird.
The Jammin Jammers! Why hello Jamie J! I love Jamie’s laugh, she is one random, goofy little woman! Jamie was another head-turner..and all you girls know it’s true despite her disbelief of this! Butttt she was a heartbreaker with a capital H! She had the boys drooling and chasing her! But it did not faze her ever. I always envied how ehhh she was to the boys.
Now Jamie is one tough cookie! Some of my best memories of my senior year come from hanging out with this one. We had sleepovers almost every night and honestly I miss them! We were a crazy duo who liked adventure and liked being on the go. Going back to the Heartbreaker part, a memory just popped in my head of Jamie walking into homeroom in NINTH grade and Greg Hoyle leaning over saying, “Look at her ass”! Hahaha! But Jamie was into what she liked and didn’t pay any mind to anything else!
Jamiee! Love her! She has been through so much in the past few years. I am so proud of my dear, and just look at her precious little handsome boy. Jamie is just a natural at everything she does including being a Mommy!
What up, What up Kellllllliiiii! Ahhh ha!! Kelli, Ohhh Kelli how you can shake your little bom bom! It’s horrible but I can’t even remember when we became so close. But our videos of us rapping dressed up as dudes will forever be in my memories!!
Kelli was known as one of the babies, as was myself. I should add this was not based on our age, but our behaviors alone…eeek. Kelli is by far has one of the biggest sense of humors you will ever meet. She is our extremest! This one can shake her tail feather better than I have ever seen done before. I remember getting all dressed up to go to Flat Spins .. yes, I said Flat Spins and I melted into the wall while watching Kelli on the balcony get low, get low.
She has a heart made of gold and has struggled and squirmed her little self into a beautiful young woman. Her convertible days were priceless, as were her cavalier with the screw driver as it’s key!!!! I know all you girls are laughing right now. The good old days. Love you Kell.
Angi! Angi has always remained the funniest I think I can say. Since elementary school she was just entertaining. Please don’t cross her the wrong way, it’s not so fun. She is a beautiful person who is true Italian in my eyes. Your family is your family and you become tough for them.
For the love of God, someone get me a better picture of Angi!!! Before she kills me! Everyone knew they could rely on Angi to talk to, to laugh with, to hangout with, to have your back. She is a true friend and has her own baby boy to take after now. Btw, when she drinks it’s so much fun!! 😉 She is the perfect touch to our great family/friend group.
- Now me? Noooo! I don’t wanna ride the pony! I know it was established I was the spontaneous crazy one…Sooo what if I was 16 with frizzy curly hair and braces trying to buy beer with my older sister’s old fake ID that was falling apart…and was brought in the back of the store by 3 clerks to get in trouble..so I ran (Anna was the getaway driver). Annnnd I may say, “Excuse me? Katieeee is talking!” time to time. but I will leave the rest up to you ladies. xoxo
I will end this post on, that I can speak for all of us by saying there is an unconditional love that bonds us all together so strongly. We are sisters in some strange way. We all think, worry, and pray for each other more than we all know. I believe through the years we have shared, we all rubbed our strongest qualities off on one another to make us the best young women we are trying to be. Our lives have taken oh so many vicious turns, paths and spirals BUT we all know … we really do have each other. We all know, we have had our UPS and our DOWNS but remember girls – We are still “The Girls” and we come together when we have to, just like a family.
More years and memories to come!!! Love you betches more than you know!
